No way. So play until the end like me and go through parts 2,3, even part 4 and you will understand how very wrong you are..Yes, the count is a total sucker. in 3 the drawing is great and in this one it’s 3 seconds +. but to kill at least one monster you have to work really hard. plot also 3 s +. All previous parts of silent hill had huge advantages: the atmosphere of the game, the plot, the cast of the scenes, the monsters clearly drawn by some kind of psycho, very colorful and complex characters, and of course the puzzles. But there was one huge minus, namely the battle with monsters was reduced to simple button presses, the gameplay was poor and very boring.

In the fifth, this minus was corrected, fights with monsters became exciting and it became a pleasure to play, but the atmosphere dropped, the cool graphics made everything too drawn and clear, and the camera, now attached only to the back of the character, killed the effect of the film, which also affected the atmosphere (the third-person camera should have been done only when you turn on combat mode, and in quiet mode you should have left the old cameras).

I think that the old parts are rated 9 out of 10, and the new ones are also 9 out of 10, it’s just that the first ones are better in one way, and the second ones in another.

The atmosphere is better in the first parts, but in the fifth it is also nothing (and the parallel evil world is even better in atmospheric terms).

The fourth Salent Hill is the worst, terrible gameplay, no atmosphere at all, a lot of plagiarism from the movie The Call and the Black Hole. The only thing that is as good as everywhere else is the plot and music.
